Soon after you sign up: Someone will reach out to you by phone, text, or email to confirm your interest in running for County Committee. This person will be your assigned Assembly District Organizer, and will tell you all about upcoming events, helpful resources, and other tips and tricks to #RepYourBlock.

In the meantime: Make sure that you are a registered Democrat at your current address and identify your Assembly District.

June 5 is the start of petitioning season: Pick up your petitions and petitioning guide from the #RepYourBlock campaign. Over the next few weeks, you will gather signatures (between 30 and 60) from your neighbors. We'll give you all the tools you need to make this easy. Follow us on FacebookTwitter, or Instagram to learn about petitioning events in your area.

June 30 to July 4: Make sure all of your petitions have been turned in to #RepYourBlock. We’ll bind and submit them to the Board of Elections.

July 12: Brush off your shoulders. You did it!

September 13: Get out there and vote. It’s the New York Democratic Primary! If by some small chance you have a contested election, you'll run a mini-campaign on your block. But more likely you'll simply coast to victory unchallenged!

Late September: County Committee will meet and you'll be invited! After that, meetings will occur twice per year.
