2022 County Committee Organizing Meeting

The Kings County Democratic County Committee Organizational Meeting will be held September 21st starting at 7 PM, according the the County website.

If you are not able to attend, Rep Your Block will be working to collect proxies. PROXIES ARE DUE BY SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH. Proxies need to be submitted to County in advance and cannot be brought to the CC meeting like in the past. We will have forms available to complete at the below times and locations. We will turn these in on your behalf to County. If you cannot make any of these times or have mobility concerns, please email [email protected] or contact your AD Organizer. If you are out of town, please email [email protected] to receive information on how to submit a proxy by mail.

- 5 PM - 8PM at Ice House, 318 Van Brunt St, 11231 (Red Hook) with Jacqui
- 6 PM - 8 PM at private residence, 63 Stagg St, Apt 1A, 11206 (Williamsburg) with Mikael

- 11 AM - 3 PM at First Unitarian Congregational Society, side Chapel space, 119-121 Pierrepont Street, 11201 (Brooklyn Heights) before, during, and after the Rep Your Block CC Member Orientation event (orientation taking place 12PM-2PM)
- 10 AM - 1:30 PM at Central Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, 10 Grand Army Plaza, 11238 (Prospect Heights) with Nick
- 1 PM - 5 PM at private residence, 295 Macon St, bell at top of stairs, 11216 (Bed-Stuy) with Sage

We are hosting an orientation for the upcoming CC Organizing Meeting!

We're hosting an orientation and information session. In person and streamed live to help elected and appointed County Committee members understand what to expect. Are you new to CC? Or do you just need a refresher? Or maybe, you want to get to know your fellow CC neighbors. Join us to learn what to expect at the organizing meeting, and general information about what you CAN DO as a County Committee Member.
